Booking and timing
Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable for most local moves, and the last weekend of the month is the busiest because that is when most leases turn over across Burnaby. If your date falls there, call as early as you can.
If you are in a bind because another arrangement fell through, ask anyway. Crews open up more often than people expect, and we will tell you honestly whether we can fit you in.
Condos and elevators
Yes, we move condos regularly, and it is a large share of our work given how much of Burnaby is towers. We ask for your building's freight elevator window as early as possible and bring corner guards and floor runners for the lobby and hallway as standard.
If your building has no freight elevator, tell us during the quote. It changes how long the job takes and how many movers we bring, not whether we can do it.
Packing and boxes
We offer full packing, partial packing for just the fragile rooms, and materials only if you would rather pack yourself. Tell us what you want covered and the quote reflects it.
Storage and weather
Short storage holds between leases are common here and can be built into the same move rather than booked separately. And yes, we plan for rain as a matter of course, with floor protection and wrapped upholstery standard on every job, not something we add only if it looks like it might rain.
Offices and specialty items
We move small offices and clinics, usually on evenings or weekends so a business does not lose a working day. Pianos, safes and other awkward items are handled by a smaller group within the crew who bring the right dolly, straps or skid board for that specific piece rather than a general moving cart.
Getting a quote
The fastest way to a real number is a short conversation about what you own, where it is going and when. Larger homes and any office move usually get a proper walk-through, either in person or over a video call, while a smaller apartment can often be quoted from a written list of what needs to move.
